Michael Arison is a writer and comedian based in Columbus, OH. Mike was raised just up the road in Cleveland, which gave him a cynic's disposition, a predilection for sports heartbreak and asthma. He intended to move outside the state for college, but decided to attend Ohio State University when he realized students could go to all the football games. He then moved to Washington, D.C., where he attended law school in the morning, performed comedy in the evenings and ended up spreading himself pretty thin. Mike was taught that the only good way to celebrate a touchdown is to “act like you’ve been there before”, but recognizes that this life lesson is dramatically out-of-step with current cultural trends. He generally keeps his cards close to the vest, because it seems like the sensible thing to do.
